Who We Are

OUR INSTRUCTOR

charles

Minister Charles L. Brown has been in and out of prison for over twenty-five years, not as an inmate, but as a Minister of the gospel.  In 1986, after visiting several penal institutions and seeing the great need for the people to be taught how to live according to the Word of God, the Lord placed upon his heart a desire to start a ministry that would go into the prisons on a consistent basis to teach the inmates how to live an overcoming, victorious new life in Jesus Christ.

In January 1990, Minister Brown, took a major leap of faith, and founded New Life for Old Ministries, an evangelistic outreach ministry consisting of over fifty volunteers, that minister weekly in the prisons, jails, youth camps, and missions. Each week ministry teams of two to six volunteers are sent out to teach and preach the word of God, ministering to an average of 2,000 people monthly.  Minister Brown has also served as a Chaplain with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department at Pitches Honor Ranch.

In 2001, Minister Brown began teaching evangelism at New Creation Fellowship Ministry Outreach Training Center, pastored by Richard D. Stewart. There the Lord began to reveal to him the mystery of His will, “to equip the saints for the work of the ministry” which led to the founding of The Ministry Outreach Training Center.

Currently Minister Brown teaches Evangelism in the Apostle Frederick Price Ministry Training Institute, under the direction of Apostle Frederick K.C. Price. He and his beautiful wife Cynthia, have four children, two wonderful son-in-laws, one lovely daughter-in-law and nine grandchildren.

The scripture tells us that salvation is a gift from God. Once you have received that gift, it’s time to be about the Father’s business and do the good work you were created to do, the work of the ministry.  The Ministry Outreach Training Center is an online ministry school that will help equip you to do the work that God has called us to do.

In this school, you will be given information, knowledge, and understanding on how to be a doer of the word and not a hearer only.  You will be taught how to go into all the world and preach the gospel, go into the highways and by-ways, seek and save the lost, and plant the seed of God’s Word into the hearts and lives of all people and be a worker together with Him.  As an Evangelist, Minister Brown has first-hand experience in all these areas and will teach you how to use all the gifts, talents, and abilities God has given you to establish His covenant in the earth.

The Ministry Outreach Training Center is sponsored by New Life for Old Ministries, an evangelistic outreach ministry that ministers primarily to men, women, boys and girls who are incarcerated in prisons, jails and youth camps. We also minister to those who are bound and broken in the missions and drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers.

Every week we send out ministry teams consisting of two to six volunteers to teach and preach God’s Word. We do worship services, Bible studies, musical concerts and dramatic performances.

We have more than 50 volunteers working with us, and we have ministered in over 30 institutions through out California and Nevada. We are not a church and we are not represented by any local church or religious denomination. However, all of our volunteers are members of different local churches throughout the Los Angeles area.
